Saskia joined the partnership of Galloway Botteselle & Company in January 2011 and became a Managing Partner in 2013. She has been working with the firm and in public practice since 2004. Saskia’s practice areas include working with a wide range of clients, such as newly incorporating physicians and other professionals, small businesses, and retirement planning. She helps clients deal with all aspects of accounting, from payroll to taxation issues.

After obtaining her CGA designation in 2010, Selena became a partner of Galloway Botteselle & Company in January 2011. With over a decade years’ experience in public practice accounting, in addition to 3 years in trust accounting experience, Selena currently holds the position of Managing Partner at Galloway Botteselle & Company.

Selena works with a wide variety of clients including small business owners, professionals, healthcare practitioners and non-profit organizations. She helps to ensure all compliance with regulatory bodies are met, including payroll, GST/PST, WCB, corporate and personal taxation in addition to the preparation of financial statements, tax planning and providing guidance regarding incorporation and business practices.

Mark Best is a Partner at Galloway Botteselle and Company and advises private companies and shareholders on a broad range of taxation and business matters in the context of corporate reorganizations, private company transactions and estate planning.

Staying on top of changing tax regulations and legislation, Mark ensures his clients are able to effectively respond to any changes in tax regulation and administration. He provides clients with progressive tax planning ideas, ultimately helping owners and entrepreneurs build value in their businesses and grow successful private enterprises. Mark has worked in public practice for over 16 years and is a Chartered Professional Accountant, and has completed the In Depth tax course with the CICA, and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UNBC.

Allyn has over 14 years of experience in public practice and became a partner of Galloway Botteselle & Company in January 2017. Allyn spent 5 years in Toronto in the private enterprise group of a Global firm providing financial statement consolidation, review engagements and corporate taxation services for medium to large private companies. His strong family ties brought him back to Vancouver and he was thrilled to re-join Galloway Botteselle & Company in 2015.

Allyn advises clients in a variety of professions and industries including medical/dental, real estate, manufacturing and hospitality. He is passionate about helping professionals and small business owners with their accounting, assurance and taxation needs including financial statement preparation and review, corporate and personal tax, tax planning and compliance.

When Allyn is not spending time with his wife and two daughters, he enjoys playing soccer, hockey and baseball.

Dave joined Galloway Botteselle & Company in 2011 and joined the partnership in 2021. Dave works with a variety of clients including medical and dental professionals, real estate, and construction and development companies among others. Dave enjoys learning about clients’ current financial well-being and then tailoring a tax efficient structure to achieve short and long-term financial goals both personally and corporately. He has experience with all aspects of accounting and tax, including personal, corporate, Family Trust and Estate planning.

Dave recently completed the CPA’s rigorous three year ‘In-depth’ tax course focusing on more complex tax restructurings, rollovers, amalgamations, reorganizations, estate freezes and business sales/acquisitions. Through this comprehensive course, Dave is able to identify opportunities to minimize tax in various corporate structures and is committed to staying current with changes to tax legislation.

In his personal time, Dave enjoys spending time with his wife and three girls. He also enjoys camping, golfing and bike riding.

Brian Galloway is the cornerstone of Galloway Botteselle & Company with a wealth of knowledge and over 40 years’ experience in public practice accounting, including significant experience in business transitions, reorganizations, tax planning and estate administration. Staff describe Brian as ‘a fantastic teacher’, one who sees merit and takes the time to ensure they understand all the steps in a financial process and how they combine for a successful outcome.
Brian was also a member of the Porter Hétu National Management Committee and formerly served as treasurer and co-chair. Also a former member of CGA BC’s Ethics and Practice Review Committees, Brian previously presented the Association’s lecture series “Practice Refresher and Orientation” seminar. He serves as treasurer for Epilepsy Canada as well and is an active golfer and fisherman. Brian lives with his wife and two children in Richmond.

Al started his career in 1978 and has been a partner since 1984. He has extensive experience advising and supporting clients to achieve their business goals. Brian joined Galloway Botteselle & Company in 1984 and became a partner in 1996. Brian’s practice focuses on small to medium-sized owner operated businesses , including tax planning, business expansions or reorganizations, acquisitions, valuations, and personal financial planning. A good portion of his practice is dedicated to both incorporated and non-incorporated health practitioners. He also has extensive experience with not for profit organizations.

Brian is an effective lecturer and receives many requests for presentations to the medical and dental community on the latest changes in tax laws and how to effectively reduce taxes.

Brian was honoured to serve as the Chair of the Porter Hétu International National Management Committee, a position he held for 3 years.

Proud of his North Vancouver roots, David gained valuable insight working with a small business before establishing his public practice career. David is also one of our top audit professionals with experience auditing public and private corporations, community service agencies, a sports organization, professional and not-for-profit organizations, plus administering trust and special purpose audits. Wilson previously held several positions, including in accounting, within the financial services sector.  Having joined Galloway Botteselle & Company in 2010, Wilson has taken a client focused approach to providing clients with a range of services including compilations, reviews, personal and corporate taxation, and estate accounting.  He has a special interest in non-resident taxation and enjoys working with clients of diverse backgrounds.  Wilson majored in accounting and finance at SFU and completed the CGA, CPA designation in 2015.
